I longed to be a teacher. I was a teacher and I enjoyed every minute. I longed to be a Mom. I'm a Mom and I enjoy every minute.
Now I long to be a teacher and a Mom simultaneously. . .
Most of my days for the past 6 years were spent in the classroom. Now my days are spent with Mr. Wyatt man. Don't get me wrong, I love being home but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss my job. In hopes to fill that void a little, I plan on tutoring as much as I can this Spring/Summer. I've worked with children every summer and have experience in reading, writing, math, Kindergarten readiness, social skills training and life skills.
I have my Master's Degree in Education and certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education and Reading. I have enjoyed teaching learning support, Kindergarten, First Grade and Third Grade.
The program will start with a pre - assessment of your child's strengths and weaknesses. We will set a few attainable goals for our time together and as a team, develop a customized learning plan to meet the needs of your child.
I am willing to meet at your home, or the community Library, whichever is less distracting and more convenient for you and your child.
I charge $50.00 per session which includes prep time, materials for instruction, 1 hour of instruction and take home materials to work on at home in between sessions. I usually recommend meeting once a week but I am willing to alter that schedule to meet your needs.
