Wyatt's Nursery

So, here it is all finished! I've imagined what his room would look like for many months now and I'm so happy with how it turned out. Honestly, I owe all of the credit to our family and friends who so graciously gave up their time to make things for this sweet little boy.

My friend Rachael is a graphic designer and she deisgned and printed the alphabet print above the crib and the numbers print above the bed.

So, Jeff and I couldn't decide on a crib - I wanted white he wanted espresso so this is what we came up with. I guess we can both be a little stubborn sometimes. I love it though because its a little bit of both of us :)
My sister actually made all of the curtains, pillows and the bedskirt. Believe it or not, it was her very first sewing project and they couldn't be more perfect!

Friends of ours got us the Noah's Ark that's on the floor and I love it. I can't wait until he's old enough to play with it. The book shelf is from Ikea and so versatile!

Nana Bryant (Jeff's Mom) handmade the quilt on the bed for Wyatt. She spent hours and hours and hours. I just love the blue and orange - it goes perfectly in the room!

Ok so I can't wait until he's old enough to actually use this space. The mini poang chair from Ikea is only 30 bucks and the carrot is so cool! I bought the carrot before I knew he was a boy and I said that I was going to sew her a skirt if we had a girl. Good thing we're having a boy because those green shorts are the cutest.

The teacher in me couldn't resist this book shelf idea! They are actually spice racks from Ikea but work perfectly as book shelves.

My friend Katharine found the cutest alphabet cards from Anthropologie...

My grandmom gave me the glider and I found an upholstrey shop in Lancaster that only charged $8.00 an hour! My Aunt Beth made the pillow on the chair.

Cait made these and they were the center pieces for my shower. I love that I can reuse them in the nursery.

Puppy tail hook from Ikea.

Wyatt's first present from Aunt Cait and Uncle Jeffrey, his elephant! I absolutely love it :)

The truck was my dad's favorite toy growing up. There is just something about little boys and their trucks. The orange inspired the room :)

Our brother in law Jeff made the mobile for us from scratch! I think its my favorite thing in the room, can you tell why? Cait saw a puppy mobile on Etsy for an insane amount of money so Jeff decided to recreate it himself. Those two are seriously the most talented creative couple I know!

Family of four and soon to be five :)

We've been calling him the little peanut sine the day we found out we were pregnant. Now we just can't wait to meet our little peanut!
